Topics in Forensic Science (TIFS) Conference

Annually, the Institute's Topics in Forensic Science Conference provides an educational forum for our law enforcement, medical, legal, and other criminal justice partners in Harris and neighboring counties. A different topic is explored each year, and features presentations provided by the Institute's own forensic science experts and other leaders in the field. The TIFS Conference is an opportunity for scientists, investigators, lawyers, doctors, and other members of the forensic science community to share information and experiences on the current practices and the latest research findings.
