Quality Training and Education
The Quality Management Division is also responsible for establishing and maintaining the quality and continuity of a Forensic Science Training Development Program. Each year interns, fellows, and observers journey through the Institute as part of a formalized program to provide meaningful education and training for students pursuing forensic science careers.
In addition, the Institute is an approved provider for professional continuing education by the Texas Medical Association and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Training Development continuously ensures the requirements of these programs are met in order to provide first-rate professional training for the Institute’s staff.
