Throughout the year, the Institute of Forensic Sciences hosts several training and education opportunities for law enforcement personnel, medicolegal death investigators, and legal and health professionals, including our annual Topics in Forensic Science (TIFS) Conference. The TIFS Conference was established in 2010 to provide educational topics of interest to the agencies and jurisdictions with which the office works closely. Since its inception, the annual conference hosts approximately 200 professionals each year and generally focuses on one topic each year providing a more in-death learning experience.
